Are you waiting in anticipation for move day? We’ve compiled everything that will happen on move day into 6 stages:
- FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS INTRODUCTION
Our removal team will arrive at the agreed time. Firstly our head porter will introduce himself and then introduce the other members of the moving team. Then we ask that you give us a brief walk round to confirm your wishes and check that we only load items that are to be moved, and ask if you have any special requests.
- CARPET, SOFA AND MATTRESS PROTECTION
We will place carpet and banister protection where necessary; sofas , chairs and mattresses etc. will have special nylon/plastic protective covers placed over them prior to being moved into our vehicle.
- CAREFUL AND ORGANISED LOADING
We generally start loading from the upstairs rooms in the house and work our way down. With garden/shed and cellar loaded last.
- CONFIRMATION LOADING IS COMPLETE
Once loading has been completed we will ask that you do a walk around and check everything has been loaded. We will then require you to sign our job sheet confirming that all items have been removed to your satisfaction.
- CUSTOMER DIRECTED UNLOADING
Upon arrival our team leader will ask you to confirm which rooms the boxes and items should be placed into. Carpet protectors will be placed where necessary before unloading begins.
- WE WELCOME YOUR FEEDBACK
Upon completion of unloading, we would request that you complete our short satisfaction survey. This will help to ensure our continued high level of customer satisfaction.
